Authorization troubleshooting

If the sign-in window closes right away, shows an error before you finish, or every retry gets stuck, the cause is often a broken OAuth session on the provider side (Google, Microsoft, and others). The steps below fix many cases without contacting support.

The authorization window closes immediately or shows an error

Symptom: you click Sign in in Latenode, the provider pop-up opens and closes almost instantly (sometimes with an error). You cannot complete a new authorization; the same error happens when you reuse an existing one.

Why: a previous OAuth attempt may have been interrupted (closed window, network, browser extension). The provider may block further sign-ins until app access for Latenode is revoked in your account settings.

What to do:

1. Open your provider account settings (not Latenode), for example Connected apps, Third-party apps, or Apps with access to your account.
2. Find Latenode (or the app used for the platform OAuth connection) and remove / revoke its access.
3. In Latenode, open Authorizations or the node settings again and sign in from scratch, keeping the pop-up open until authorization succeeds.

After revoking access on the provider side and signing in again, authorization usually works.

If it still fails

• Try another browser or a profile without extensions (ad blockers often break OAuth pop-ups).
• Create a new authorization with a different name instead of reusing a broken one.
• Email [email protected] with the service name, a screenshot of the error, and note that you already revoked app access on the provider side.
